HARDWARE TIER LIST

This is the definitive ranking of mobile hardware based strictly on sustained performance. Devices are evaluated on a composite score combining 60-minute frame stability, peak external temperature, and battery draw efficiency. We do not factor in camera quality or design aesthetics. This is about raw power.

WARNING: AMBIENT TEMPERATURE MATTERS

All scores below were recorded at an ambient room temperature of 24°C. Summer travel environments (30°C+) will cause earlier throttling. Subtract approximately 10-15% from sustained FPS metrics if gaming outdoors in direct sunlight.

S S-TIER / APEX PERFORMANCE

Devices with active cooling (internal fans) or massive external vapor chambers. Zero perceptible throttling.

Rank Device SoC (Chipset) Cooling Architecture 60m FPS Avg Peak Temp SMPH Score
#1 UltraGamer Pro Max Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 20,000 RPM Fan + VC 119.8 fps 41.2°C
99.5
#2 Titan Play 9 Dimensity 9400 Dual Layer Vapor Chamber 115.4 fps 43.5°C
95.2

A A-TIER / FLAGSHIP STANDARDS

Standard premium flagships. Capable of high burst performance, but will inevitably drop frames to manage heat buildup.

Rank Device SoC (Chipset) Cooling Architecture 60m FPS Avg Peak Temp SMPH Score
#3 SpeedX 2025 Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 Graphite Sheet + Small VC 108.2 fps 46.1°C
88.4
#4 Galaxy S25 Ultra Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 for G Vapor Chamber 104.5 fps 45.8°C
85.1
#5 iPhone 17 Pro Max A19 Pro Graphene Sheet (No VC) 98.0 fps (120Hz locked) 47.2°C
81.0

BUDGET DIVISION

Budget Gaming Phones

Looking for cost-effective performance? Mid-range SoCs (like Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3) actually offer better sustained thermal stability than flagship chips due to lower power draw. They cap at 60fps, but they maintain it indefinitely.

THROTTLE WALL OF SHAME

Devices that drop more than 40% of their frame rate within the first 15 minutes of testing due to catastrophic thermal mismanagement. Avoid these for serious gaming.

  • Foldable X3 (Too thin to dissipate heat)
  • Mini Flagship Z (Battery overheats)
  • Compact Pro 8 (Severe CPU bottlenecking)
